Today Gabe is wearing a green jacket, grey sweatshirt, khaki pants, and brown shoes.
Today I am done with my “finish the book by Thanksgiving” assignment. I did it! I almost can’t believe it.
After all the research, the phone calls, the emailing, and the actual writing, it’s hard to believe the bulk of the book is basically done. There’s still plenty of editing and finalizing and adding-one-more-thing to be done, but it’s pretty thrilling to set a big writing goal and complete it on time.
But now I’m done patting myself on the back.
It’s time for Thanksgiving! Gabe and I stocked up on food yesterday and today, and are looking forward to getting down to business tomorrow. Thanksgiving might be my very favorite holiday and I can’t wait for everything to begin.
We’re having friends over to feast tomorrow night, so tomorrow daytime will be all about making playlists, peeling potatoes, and realizing we don’t have enough pans to accommodate all the food we’re planning to make. I can’t wait!
And on a final Thanksgiving note, thank you to all of you who have been reading and following along with my little blog these past few months. When I first started, I never realized what an oddly compelling subject Gabe’s wardrobe would be and I am so pleased that people have found Gabe’s personal style as charming as I do. I can’t wait to see what kind of looks the holiday season brings for Gabe, and I can’t wait to document them all here.
So thank you to you! And you. And you.
